Musi Banyuasin, January 4, 2025 – PT MNC Energy Investments (the “Company”) through its subsidiary, PT Putra Muba Coal, has again made a real contribution through the Community Empowerment Program (PPM)/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Health Pillar in supporting the fulfillment of basic needs of the community in Musi Banyuasin Regency.

PT Putra Muba Coal (PMC) has successfully completed the construction of 4 boreholes in Sri Gunung Village which will provide benefits to the surrounding area of the company’s operations. This borehole well is expected to meet the clean water needs of the community, especially during the dry season and can meet the daily clean water needs of people who have had difficulty accessing clean water sources.

“This borehole well donation is a form of the company’s concern for the surrounding community. Access to clean water is a basic right of every human being and is very important to maintain health. With this borehole well, we hope the community can more easily access clean water for daily needs, such as cooking, bathing and washing. This will greatly help improve the quality of life and public health,” said Suryadi Wibowo, Summit of PT PMC.

With this program, PT Putra Muba Coal also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDG 6: Ensure the availability and management of clean water and sanitation for all and SDG 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
