PT MNC Energy Reinforces CSR Commitment Through SEHATI (Healthy Mothers and Children) Program in PMC Operational Area

PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Putra Muba Coal (PMC), continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development and community well-being. One of its tangible contributions is the implementation of various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, particularly in the Health pillar, around the company’s operational areas.

Through the SEHATI Program (Sehat Anak Ibu Tercinta or “Healthy Beloved Mothers and Children”), PMC provided direct support to the Posyandu Begadang Jaya in Sungai Lilin Jaya Sub-district. This initiative reflects the company’s responsibility in expanding access to healthcare and supporting government programs aimed at reducing stunting rates. The program involves several posyandu (integrated health posts) and local health centers (puskesmas) within the concession area, offering supplementary nutrition (PMT), medicine, vitamins, free health check-ups, and training for posyandu cadres.

Suryadi Wibowo, Head of Mining Engineering (Kepala Teknik Tambang), stated, “We hope this program reflects the company’s serious commitment to improving access to basic healthcare services and supporting government initiatives, while also strengthening harmonious relationships with the local community. Active and empowered posyandu play a vital role in ensuring preventive and sustainable public health.”

This program also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Point 3: Good Health and Well-being.
