In collaboration with the local government, PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Putra Muba Coal (PMC), supported the implementation of the Festival Anak Sholeh (Pious Children Festival) in Sungai Lilin Jaya Sub-district. This event featured various competitions such as the call to prayer (adhan), Quran memorization (tahfidz), and Quran recitation (tilawah) in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The event aimed to instill religious values, discipline, and a spirit of achievement in the younger generation from an early age.
In line with this, PMC also distributed food aid (sembako) to communities in two sub-districts, Sungai Lilin and Tungkal Ilir. The assistance was intended to alleviate the burden of underprivileged families, allowing them to observe fasting during Ramadan in peace and celebrate Eid al-Fitr with joy.
Continuing the series of activities, PMC also supported the Free Eid Homecoming Program (Mudik Gratis Idul Fitri 1446 H) coordinated by the South Sumatra Transportation Agency (Dinas Perhubungan) and the South Sumatra TJSLP Forum. This program aimed to facilitate people in celebrating the holiday with their families, especially those from remote or economically disadvantaged areas.
All PMC activities emphasize a participatory and responsive approach to meet the real needs of the community. In carrying out these programs, the company continues to coordinate with community leaders, village officials, local organizations, and government bodies to ensure a positive and sustainable impact on the community.
