In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri, PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (“MNCEI”) once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by distributing sacrificial animals to communities in the areas surrounding the company’s mining operations in South Sumatra. This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen harmonious relationships and provide tangible benefits to communities near its operational areas.
Through its subsidiaries— PT Arthaco Prima Energy, PT Indonesia Batu Prima Energi, and PT Putra Muba Coal, MNCEI distributed a total of 38 sacrificial animals, consisting of 8 cows and 30 goats. These animals were distributed to local communities, community leaders, and the company’s partners in several of its operational areas.
The distribution of aid took place in an atmosphere of togetherness and gratitude. Community representatives and the Qurbani committee welcomed the company’s contribution, noting that it has consistently supported the community’s social and religious activities every year.
Mr. Prasutiyo, as the head of the Al-Muttaqin Mosque Management Board in Mekar Jadi Village, expressed his appreciation for the company’s concern for the communities surrounding its operational areas.
“We would like to express our gratitude for the sacrificial animals that were donated. Every year, PT PMC regularly distributes sacrificial donations to communities in the areas surrounding the company’s operations. This assistance is certainly very beneficial and is received with deep gratitude by the residents,” he said.
For MNCEI, Eid al-Adha is not only a religious celebration but also an opportunity to reinforce the values of compassion, togetherness, and social solidarity. Through this initiative, the company hopes to continue building positive and sustainable relationships with the communities surrounding the mine. This program to distribute sacrificial animals is also part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that MNCEI consistently carries out together with all of its business units.
