PT PUTRA MUBA COAL ENHANCES COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE ACCESSIBILITY IN ITS OPERATIONAL AREAS

PT Putra Muba Coal (PMC) continues to strengthen its role as a partner in community development through the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs focused on improving infrastructure accessibility and reinforcing social cohesion within its operational areas.

In Sumber Rezeki Village, PT PMC has constructed a connecting bridge that provides safer and more convenient access for farmers to reach their agricultural land. This infrastructure serves as a solution to long-standing access limitations faced by the community, while also supporting the smooth transportation of agricultural produce and enhancing productivity in the local farming sector.

In addition to supporting the community’s economic activities, PMC has also carried out renovations of religious facilities as part of its efforts to strengthen social relations and shared values within the community. The assistance includes the renovation of Immanuel Church in Sri Gunung Village and Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Sumber Rezeki Village, enabling these facilities to be used more properly and comfortably by local residents.

The Company believes that adequate religious facilities play an important role in maintaining social harmony, strengthening a sense of togetherness, and fostering interfaith tolerance within the community.

PT Putra Muba Coal considers that the entire series of CSR programs was designed based on the community’s actual needs and aspirations, and implemented through a participatory approach. Through these initiatives, PT PMC reaffirms its commitment to delivering sustainable benefits and supporting inclusive, balanced, and empowered village development.
