PT MNC Energy Investments once again reaffirmed its commitment to supporting human resource development through a strategic collaboration with the Indonesian Journalists Association (Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia/PWI) of South Sumatra Province. This synergy was realized through educational outreach activities and the distribution of school supply packages to elementary school students as part of the Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) under the Education Pillar.
The program was conducted on December 18 – 19, 2025, at SD Negeri 49 Palembang and reached a total of 150 students. The initiative aimed to help ease the financial burden of parents while simultaneously increasing students’ motivation to learn, particularly those from economically disadvantaged families.Through collaboration with PWI South Sumatra, PT MNC Energy Investments, Tbk distributed school supply packages consisting of school bags, notebooks, stationery, and other essential learning materials. The distribution was carried out directly with the assistance of the school and supported by recipient data verification to ensure that the assistance was accurately targeted.

In addition to the distribution of educational assistance, the program also featured educational counseling sessions for students on the dangers of online gambling and addiction to online gaming. This outreach aimed to raise early awareness of the risks of misuse and digital addiction, which may negatively impact academic performance, mental health, and children’s social development. During the sessions, students were encouraged to use digital devices wisely, manage their study and playtime effectively, and understand the adverse effects of excessive and uncontrolled engagement in online gambling and gaming on their future. This educational component formed part of broader efforts to prevent harm and protect children amid the rapid advancement of digital technology.
